With a network spanning more than 40 countries, they provide end-to-end financial solutions to corporations, governments, and institutional investors worldwide. It\'s a 1 year contract role.

As part of their continued growth in Asia, the Singapore branch is seeking a talented Trade Support Associate to join their Operations team. This role offers exposure to a wide range of institutional products and direct interaction with sales and trading desks, providing a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

Role Overview

The Trade Support Associate will be responsible for trade capture, reconciliation, and life-cycle management across a range of products including Cash Equities, Fixed Income, Commodities, and Listed/OTC Derivatives. The role requires close collaboration with sales, trading, and operations teams across the region, and offers the opportunity to contribute to the implementation of regulatory and system enhancements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely and accurate trade capture, verification, and life-cycle event processing
  • Investigate and resolve trade discrepancies by coordinating with trading, sales, and counterparties
  • Monitor and manage trade breaks and exceptions, ensuring issues are escalated and resolved promptly
  • Reconcile trades and ensure trade confirmations align with internal and external systems
  • Collaborate with Technology teams to roll out new platforms and system enhancements
  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Project teams to implement regulatory reform initiatives
  • Perform daily control checks and support regulatory reporting processes to local regulators
  • Provide backup and cross-functional support across other operations teams within the Singapore branch

  • Product knowledge in Commodities or Fixed Income OTC products is highly advantageous
  • Proven experience engaging with front office (sales/trading) and external clients

  • Excellent attention to detail, with a high level of risk and control awareness
  • Proactive mindset with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
