What you’ll do:

As a Trade Reporting Analyst, you will be instrumental in shaping the organisation's approach to regulatory reporting by analysing requirements, documenting processes, and facilitating communication between key stakeholders. Your day‑to‑day activities will involve reviewing business needs for trade repository reporting, identifying workflow improvements, assessing system changes prompted by new regulations, and ensuring accurate representationFest products throughout their lifecycle. You will perform rigorous quality checks on reports while collaborating with various internal teams-including Operations, Technology, Compliance-and external parties such as market intermediaries.   • Review and challenge business requirements for trade repository reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Analyse current workflows within upstream applications and identify areas forisin improvement based on evolving regulatory guidelines.
  • Assess system enhancements as new requirements arise from global regulations, ensuring seamless integration into existing processes.
  • Examine data flows between upstream systems, reporting suites, and trade repositories to guarantee reliable information transfer.
  • Ensure products in scope and their lifecycle events are accurately represented in all relevant documentation and reporting systems.
  • Perform comprehensive quality checks on trade repository reports to uphold data integrity and regulatory adherence.
  • Review new product launches in detail to assess applicability for trade repository reporting (TR) and preparedness, including user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Technology, Compliance, Front Office technology teams, Middle Office teams, and desks to understand product nuances.
  • Coordinate with market intermediaries and trade repositories such as CCIL for rules interpretation and clarifications regarding reporting obligations.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of trade lifecycle events relevant to derivatives products.
  • Familiarity with trade repository platforms such as DTCC or similar systems used for regulatory submissions.
  • Solid understanding of financial markets infrastructure underpinning instala global trading operations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Alteryx for data analysis and Power BI for visualisation of complex datasets.
  • Expert‑level skills in Microsoft Office Suite‚particularly Excel‑volle managing large volumes of transactional data.
