Business Function

Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of governance policies and frameworks for AI systems used across DBS Bank to ensure legal and ethical compliance
• Conduct risk assessments and audits of AI systems to identify and mitigate bias, unfairness or other issues
• Develop and implement prompt engineering techniques to ensure AI systems used by DBS Bank are robust, transparent and achieve desired business outcomes in a responsible manner
• Advise business units on responsible and effective application of AI to support banking services and operations
• Engage stakeholders across the bank to foster a culture of responsible AI through awareness initiatives and training

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field with at least 10 years' experience in AI governance, risk management or technology policy
• Strong AI literacy with in-depth understanding of modern machine learning techniques and their limitations
• Proven experience developing and implementing governance frameworks for complex AI systems
• Expert knowledge of techniques for ensuring AI system robustness, transparency and alignment such as prompt engineering
• Ability to advise business and technical teams on responsible and effective application of AI
