Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Coaching & Instruction
• Deliver structured tennis and padel lessons for children, adults, and groups of varying skill levels.
• Adapt coaching methods to suit individual learning needs and sport-specific demands.
• Teach fundamental techniques, match strategy, and sportsmanship.
• Provide player feedback and monitor progress.

Programme & Event Support

• Assist with the planning and delivery of seasonal camps, social play sessions, leagues, and tournaments.
• Promote both sports within the club community to drive participation and engagement.
• Support the development of junior performance players in both tennis and padel.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all participants.
• Follow club safeguarding policies and uphold professional coaching standards.
• Maintain accurate class registers and attendance records.

Requirements

• Tennis Coaching Qualification : Minimum ITF Level 1 or SG-Coach Tennis certification.
• Padel Coaching Qualification : Certification from a recognized body (e.g. FIP, PadelMBA), or demonstrable experience in padel instruction.
• CoachSG / NROC Registration (or in progress).
• Valid Standard First Aid with CPR / AED.
• Proven coaching experience with children and adults.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and during club events.

Desirable

• Multi-sport or fitness instruction experience.
• Tournament or event management exposure.
• Familiarity with the local tennis and padel scene in Singapore.
