Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is looking for a Structural Engineer with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include preparing structural models and drawings, assisting in project planning, and liaising with clients and consultants. Candidates must have proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Tekla Structures, along with a good understanding of structural design principles. Familiarity with BCA guidelines is a plus. This role involves office work with occasional site visits.

Job Responsibilities

• Experience with constructionstructural steel design, drawings, specifications, and details.
• Prepare 3D structuralmodels, shop drawings, and fabrication drawings (Tekla Structures,AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
• Assist and support theProject Director / Manager in planning and controlling project-relatedassignments.
• Assist in project activitiessuch as drawing submissions and quantity take-off.
• Involved in design,coordination, and preparation of specifications and plans.
• Liaise with ProjectManagers, Engineers, clients, suppliers, sub-contractors, and consultantsfor technical drawings and submission approvals.
• Coordinate technical designand drawings submission between client and consultant; familiar with BCAsubmission processes.
• Maintain proper documentcontrol and filing.
• Based in office withoccasional site visits when necessary.
• Able to undertake any otherduties as assigned.
• Liaise with internal teamsto implement projects.
• Assist in planning,scheduling, and coordination to ensure engineering deliverables comply withstandards.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevantexperience (experience in structural steel is an advantage).
• Experience andcertifications in AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, etc.
• Proficient in TeklaStructures for shop drawing preparation.
• Good understanding ofstructural steel works, structural design, and calculations.
• Good knowledge of Eurocodeand BCA guidelines.
• Familiar with BCA submissionrequirements.
• Good analytical,communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Independent and a teamplayer.
