The Technology Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a critical role in sourcing, attracting, and securing top-tier technology professionals to drive organisational growth and innovation. As a key member of the recruitment team, you will partner with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and deliver exceptional hiring experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hiring managers and business leaders to define technology hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Source, engage, and attract qualified candidates using a variety of channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
- Screen and assess candidates for technical expertise, cultural fit, and alignment with organisational goals.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate interviews, feedback coordination, offer negotiation, and onboarding support.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future technology roles, focusing on both active and passive candidates.
- Stay updated on technology trends, market intelligence, and best practices in recruiting to ensure a competitive edge in talent acquisition.
- Champion employer branding initiatives to position the organisation as an employer of choice within the technology sector.
- Ensure an excellent candidate experience through timely communication and a professional recruitment process.
- Track key recruitment metrics and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in technology recruitment, either in-house or within an agency environment.
- Solid understanding of various technology roles (e.g., software development, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, data science) and associated skill sets.
- Strong sourcing skills, including use of LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and other talent acquisition tools.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
