A leading electric vehicle dealer in Singapore is looking for a Technology Manager to oversee its IT operations and technology strategies. This role includes leading infrastructure management, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving efficiency and connectivity across platforms. Reporting to the Managing Director, the Technology Manager leads the planning, implementation, and optimization of the company’s technology ecosystem. This role ensures that IT and digital platforms align with business objectives, supports innovation across the electric vehicle value chain, and drives technology-enabled efficiency, connectivity, and sustainability throughout the organization.
Lead and manage the company’s IT operations, including infrastructure, applications, and network systems.
Develop and execute technology strategies that supports business goals and the company’s electric vehicle ecosystem.
Oversee system upgrades, integrations, and security initiatives, ensuring robust connectivity across digital and vehicle platforms.
Manage vendors, contracts, and service-level agreements.
Plan, oversee, and manage technology projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standardsaremet.
Ensure data security, compliance, and business continuity planning.
Collaborate with product, operations teams to implement digital and connected vehicle technologies that enhance customer experience and efficiency.
Analyze emerging technologies such as IoT, telematics, cloud platforms, and AI, and recommend solutions that enhance productivity, sustainability and scalability.
Manage IT and technology budgets, forecasting, and cost optimization.
Provide technical guidance and strategic insights to cross-functional teams and leadership.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT or technology management, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing sector.
Strong background in systems integration, cloud technologies, cybersecurity and data analytics.
Familiarity with connected vehicle technologies, IoT, and enterprise ERP/CRM systems.
Proven ability to manage complex technology projects.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
Strategic and innovative thinker with a deep understanding of automotive and EV technologies.
Detail-oriented, analytical, and solution-driven.
