Job summary

A vehicle maintenance company in Singapore is seeking an experienced automotive mechanic to perform maintenance and repair work on various vehicles. The ideal candidate should have a formal qualification in automotive mechanics, along with 2-3 years of industry experience. Responsibilities include conducting diagnostic checks, adhering to safety guidelines, and performing quality checks on vehicles. A Class 3 & 4 Driving License is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in the automotive repair and service industry.
• Able to read and understand electrical schematic diagrams.
• Preferably with Class 3 & 4 Driving License.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance, servicing, and repair work on vehicles (truck/ lorry/ light vehicle)
• Conduct diagnostic checks, troubleshooting, automatic transmission, and engine overhaul.
• Able to understand car diagnostics and can work independently.
• Perform quality checks and road tests on vehicles.
• Adhere to defined guidelines regarding safety, orderliness and etc.
• Complete work order for each vehicle and serviced.
• Good attitude and accept the company's work arrangement

Requirements

• Formal qualification in automotive mechanics or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience in the automotive repair and service industry
• Able to read and understand electrical schematic diagrams.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Able to use and troubleshoot electrical/ technical issues with a diagnostic tool.
