Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all calibration documentation is entered into Asset Management System and is in a current state of compliance, including the review of calibration, Preventive Maintenance (PM) and First Article Inspection (FAI) reports.
- Register new equipment and maintain all equipment metrology (calibration and preventive maintenance) in the Asset Management System.
- Coordinate with service providers and custodians for Calibration, First Article Inspection (FAI) and Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities, including obtaining quotes, supervisor approval, initiating purchase orders, and coordinating services while ensuring activities are completed before due date.
- Ensure all inducted equipment/instrumentation are calibrated accordingly, verify calibration reports meet quality requirements, and escalate any discrepancies.
- Determine and track Out-of-Tolerances (OOT) and Equipment Non-Conformances status to closure.
- Act as Asset Management System expert and provide training and technical expertise to all other users.
- Generate routine reports, inclusive of report verification.
- Other incidental duties (e.g., occasional photocopying, pagination, filing).
Education and Experience
- Diploma in Engineering required or National ITE Certificate (Nitec) required.
- 2 years of practical experience in calibration preferred.
Additional Skills
- Good computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Asset Management System or related software preferred.
- Knowledge of GMP / GDP preferred.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and write English; good communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Must be able to work in a team environment and with minimum supervision.
- Outstanding attention to detail; ability to multi-task.
- Good computer skills, including MS Office and aptitude to learn computer systems.
- Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures to prevent injuries and environmental pollution.
