Job summary

An automotive repair company in Singapore is seeking a skilled automotive technician to perform repairs and servicing on customer vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 'N' level / NITEC in Motor Vehicle mechanics and at least one year of experience in servicing Diesel Engines. Responsibilities include diagnosing faults, ensuring vehicles are maintained according to manufacturer standards, and maintaining a clean workshop. A valid Class 3 license is an added advantage.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 license is an added advantage.

Job Description

Report to Workshop Manager and Assistant Service Manager. responsible for performance of all automotive related repairs in achieving the Departmental sales turnover objectives with fast turnaround of customer vehicles and meet quality standard.

Requirement

• Perform automotive service repairs and OEM installation as per repair order instructions according to manufacture's required procedures and quality standard.


• Diagnose and troubleshoot fault on system components of the vehicle.


• Record all jobs done to the vehicle on repair done.


• Notify any addition fault or defect found in the repair process to Workshop Supervisor and obtain appropriate approval before proceeding with the repair.


• Ensure customer vehicles are cleaned after being repaired.


• Perform daily shop floor housekeeping.

Qualification

• Minimum qualification "N" level / NITEC in Motor Vehicle mechanics.


• Minimum 1 year experience in Motor Vehicle Service and Repair for Diesel Engines.


• Valid Class 3 license is added advantages.
