Job description

Mechanical Technician

• Responsible for installation, commissioning, repair and maintenance of port equipment (e.g., RTG, STS, Spreaders).
• Inspect and replace mechanical components to ensure equipment reliability.
• Assist in equipment handling, assembly and testing.

Electrical Technician

• Responsible for installation, wiring, commissioning and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Inspect cables, control systems and sensors to ensure safe operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults.

Welder

• Responsible for welding and repair of steel structures, brackets and components.
• Capable of performing common welding processes (arc welding, CO₂ welding, etc.).
• Perform welding according to drawings or site requirements, ensuring weld quality meets standards.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience; experience with port machinery or heavy equipment preferred.
• Able to work in outdoor conditions and at heights.
• Basic English communication skills; able to understand safety instructions.
• Physically fit and able to comply with safety regulations.

Certification Requirements

• Work at Height (WAH) Certificate
• Confined Space Certificate
• Boom Lift Operator License

Advantageous (Preferred)

• Crane Rigger / Lifting Certificate
• Forklift Operator License
• WSQ Safety-related Training Certificates WSQ
• Welder Qualification Certificate (for Welder position)
