Job summary

A facility management company in Singapore is seeking a Facility Technician to maintain the building's security and appearance. This role includes conducting routine maintenance, troubleshooting repairs, and liaising with vendors. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role and possess proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Preference will be given to those with knowledge of health and safety regulations. This position is open to Singapore citizens and permanent residents only.

Qualifications

• 3 years of working experience in a similar role.
• Basic understanding of elevators and fire alarms.
• Valid driving license is preferred but not mandatory.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Ensuring security and general appearance of building and surrounding areas are maintained in accordance with the required standards
• Upkeep the company’s facilities
• Conduct routine maintenance and regular check‑ups to ensure everything is always working properly
• Scheduling with vendors and contractors as well as making sure they adhere to safe working practices
• Troubleshooting and general repair of malfunctioning or defect items
• Take inventory and maintain facility supplies (e.g. tube lights, electrical sockets, toiletries etc)
• Ensuring facility service maintenances are carried out accordingly
• Update and maintain facility system

Requirements

• Minimum O Level / Nitec
• 3 years of working experience in a similar role
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Basic understanding of elevators and fire alarms
• Knowledge of Health & Safety Regulations
• Self‑Motivated and Pro Active
• Valid driving license is preferred but not a mandatory requirement
