Job description

We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer to provide after-sales technical support and customer application assistance for engineering plastics across ASEAN and India. This role is customer-facing and service-oriented, requiring strong technical fundamentals and flexibility in working hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide after-sales technical support, troubleshooting, and application guidance to customers.

• Conduct basic failure analysis, benchmarking, and molding trials when required.

• Support customers with material selection, processing advice, and application performance.

• Work closely with the commercial team to support customer retention and sales targets.

• Deliver technical presentations and training to customers and distributors.

• Participate in customer meetings and entertainment after office hours.

• Support trade shows and technical marketing activities.

Travel Requirement

• Frequent overseas travel required (1–2 trips per month) within ASEAN and India.
• Flexibility to support customers after office hours, including evening meetings and client entertainment, is a core requirement of this role.

Requirements

• Diploma or above in Polymer, Plastics, or Chemical Engineering.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in plastics application, injection molding, or technical customer support.

• Fluent in English and Mandarin; Japanese (JLPT N3+) is an advantage.

• Strong communication skills, customer-service mindset, and willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
