A company specializing in process control solutions is seeking a Sales Engineer to nurture client relationships and identify new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in Engineering or IT and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Sales or Business Development. We are expanding our footprint in Southeast Asia and looking for a Sales Engineer who thrives in a client-centric environment. If you’re someone who enjoys building long‑term customer relationships over transactional selling — this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Nurture and grow existing client relationships (80% account management, 20% new business development).
  2. Identify and negotiate new business opportunities within the region.
  3. Attend tender site shows, evaluate technical requirements, and prepare customized proposals.
  4. Collaborate closely with internal project and technical teams to deliver innovative solutions.
  5. Analyze market trends and competitor activity to improve product positioning and strategies.
  6. Plan and execute go‑to‑market strategies for assigned product lines.
  7. Produce technical content such as white papers, product briefs, and presentations.
  8. Conduct technical presentations and product training for internal teams and customers.
Job Requirements:
  • Diploma/Degree in Engineering, IT, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Applications Engineering in Industrial IoT / Control & Automation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a consultative approach.
  • Technically savvy and able to articulate solutions clearly to stakeholders.
  • Self‑driven and structured in managing multiple client accounts and timelines.
  • Comfortable with occasional regional travel (approx. once every 2‑3 months).
