We are currently recruiting for Technical Director – Mechanical to join our BuildingServicesteam with broad experience in healthcare, commercial and mixed-development projects. This position will be based in our Singapore Office and reporting to General Manager, Built Form – Singapore.

About You

You’ll be a qualified Professional Engineer (P. Eng - Mechanical) with Professional Engineer Board, Singapore with your mechanical engineering experience coming from a consulting environment.With broad experience in healthcare, commercial and mixed-development projects, you will have a strong technical knowledge of mechanical practices and principles.Working amongst a group of highly motivated professionals, you will step into an open and supportive culture that values the skills that you can contribute to the group. You are a value-driven person who enjoys sharing the successes of your colleagues and delivering excellence for your clients.

Along with proven and adapt stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse interests, you will be an experienced consultant and problem solver with highly developed analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify risks and deliver innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible to:

  • Deliver operational excellence through effective management of complex technical solutions and large and complex Mechanical projects / multiple jobs
  • BIM automation for construction industry productivity improvements
  • Lead and manageproject teams by reviewing technical accuracy and technical outcomes
  • To devise and deliver practical and economical solutions to problems through applications oftechnical principlesin order to gain respect from clients as a highly skilled consultant
  • Understand the client’s business and strategic issues in order to ensure successful outcomes and maximise repeat business revenue
  • Understand risk on all jobs through implementation of sound audit, business and financial management and understand impact of work practices on the financial outcome of projects
  • Demonstrate effective communication, presentation, networking and consulting skills

Key Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 15-18 years of relevant experience inBuilt Environment industry.
  • Registered Professional Engineer by PE Board Singapore.
  • Extensive practical application of principles and practices within Mechanicaldiscipline
  • Proven experience in a consulting environment
  • Experience in Integrated Digital Delivery
  • Experience in Commercial, Mixed Development, Healthcare, Aviation, Data Centre & Educational projects
  • Excellent written & spoken communication skills in English
  • Able to work independently & exercise initiative
  • A team, client and delivery focused working style
  • Demonstrated leadership ability
  • Respected technical specialist in their field internally and externally
