As a Team Lead in Corporate Banking Portfolio Management at OCBC, you'll have the opportunity to lead and be member of a team of portfolio managers responsible for overseeing and monitoring a portfolio of structured and project finance transactions within the infrastructure, utilities, and energy sectors. You and your team, together with relationship managers, will be part of a dynamic team that's dedicated to delivering exceptional services and financial solutions to clients.

How you succeed

To excel in this role, you'll need to ensure rigorous credit risk management, compliance, efficient financing portfolio review and management, and timely reporting to support strategic decision‑making. You'll take a prudent approach in coordination with relationship managers, understanding the client's business goals and challenges and the bank's financial and non‑financial risks, essentially providing external and internal stakeholders with quality services. Your ability to communicate effectively, think strategically, and work collaboratively will be key to your success.

What you do
  • Supervise and review team deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Lead credit discussions, forums, and project initiatives
  • Prepare and submit periodic credit reviews and waiver requests for approval
  • Monitor covenant compliance and escalate risks or adverse developments promptly
  • Manage compliance requirements and oversee administrative functions for the team and portfolio
  • Financial spreading, rating, loan classification, pricing models, default triggers and financial analysis and projections
  • Provide comprehensive company and industry research to make informed credit decisions
  • Support relationship managers in deal execution if and when required
Who you are
  • Good bachelor's degree from a recognized university
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant structured/project finance and/or corporate credit experience
  • Deep expertise in structured/project finance risks assessment, and financial statement and model analysis
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret both financial and non‑financial data
  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities; results‑driven and adaptable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
