Job description
Detention Sessions (DS) Coordination:
  • Supervise DS Monday-Friday, after school until 4:30 pm.
  • Implement, monitor, and maintain consistent DS processes.
  • Follow up with defaulters and revert attendance updates to Form Teachers.
  • Maintain detention records and ensure DS acts as a deterrent for truancy and late-coming.
Student Management Centre Operations:
  • Manage daily operations, data records, and student services (loan/issue of items, lost & found, early leave, attendance updates).
  • Attend to student drop‑ins and liaise with teachers, Year Heads, HODs, and School Leaders as needed.
Case Management & Follow‑up:
  • Monitor students under disciplinary measures and update HOD/YH/SL on potential issues.
  • Conduct follow‑ups after investigations, including supervising assignments, suspensions, and detentions.
  • Track student movement, assist with absentee follow‑ups, and accompany officers on home visits.
  • Liaise with police or relevant authorities when necessary.
School Tone & Security:
  • Conduct regular monitoring and foot patrols within and outside school.
  • Supervise non‑structured school hours (recess, after school) to prevent disruptive behaviour.
  • Attend to external visitors and coordinate with school officers.
Additional Duties:
  • Support school and national examinations (patrolling, escorting, managing waiting areas).
  • Assist PE department during sports/events.
  • Monitor After School Engagement and Extended School Term Self‑study programmes.
  • Maintain and compile records of minor non‑compliances, late‑coming, and student profiling.
Requirements:
  • Minimum: Full GCE O Level or equivalent work experience.
  • Able to connect with students and build rapport.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and online school data systems.
  • Detail‑oriented, able to multitask, keen learner, and team player.
Duration / Working Hours:

1 year contract (Option to extend another year) 1 Jan 2026 to 31 Dec 2026

  • Mon‑Thu: 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, inclusive of 1 hr lunch break.
  • Fri: 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, inclusive of 1 hr lunch break.
  • Does not require service on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays.
