A leading audit firm in Singapore is seeking a Tax Associate to join their team. This role involves managing corporate and personal tax compliance, providing advisory services to clients, and preparing income tax returns. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 2-3 years of relevant experience in tax compliance and advisory. Knowledge of Singapore tax regulations is essential.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in tax compliance and advisory, preferably in a public accounting or tax consulting environment.
• Thorough knowledge of Singapore tax regulations, including corporate, personal income tax, GST, and general tax compliance.

Responsibilities

• Handle corporate, personal income, and GST tax compliance.
• Provide detailed advisory services to clients.
• Prepare, review, and e-file income tax returns for clients.
• Respond to IRAS queries and draft objection letters for disputed assessments.
• Advise on tax implications of business transactions including corporate and personal income tax, and GST.
• Support tax due-diligence and advise on projects like share swaps and business restructurings.
• Assist with GST MES renewal schemes and secure tax rulings or clarifications from IRAS.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
