Job summary

A maritime logistics company in Singapore is seeking an individual to manage shipping operations, including arrangements for voyages, issuing instructions to vessel masters, and handling shipping documents. Candidates should ideally have a degree in maritime studies or relevant experience, possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and be team-oriented. Training will be provided for those with maritime education.

Qualifications

• Preferably in Maritime studies, degree or diploma or some working experience.
• Relevant experience in post fixture claims or has maritime education.
• Strong analytical, problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Arrange everything for a voyage such as appointing the shipping agent.
• Issue voyage instruction to vessel master in accordance to the governing CP.
• Handle freight invoice, demurrage/despatch, and port disbursement accounts.
