Summary
The role will be managing a small team of experienced assembly operators to meet the daily output demands set by the Planning department and Support resources to be drawn upon are on site from the Quality department.
Responsibilities
Leadership and Team Management
- Lead, motivate and manage a team to achieve optimal performance
- Set clear expectations and foster accountability across the team
Quality Control
- Ensuring high standards of quality and safety are consistently met, including compliance with ISO standards
Operational Efficiency
- Overseeing daily operations and ensuring output targets are efficiently achieved
- Monitor workflow and implement process improvements to enhance productivity.
Training, Development & Continuous Improvement
- Working with the on‑site trainer to increase the team skill to drive continuous improvement on the production line
Problem‑Solving & Escalation
- The ability to trouble‑shoot problems on the assembly line and escalate issues promptly to engineering.
Cross Function Collaboration
- Clearly conveying instructions, providing constructive feedback, and ensure alignment with production goals.
- Maintain daily communication with London office to update production schedules and feedback.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to workplace safety standards and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in a production environment.
- Experience using SAP (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to promoting a culture of safety and quality across the team.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and required company standards.
- Efficiently managing time and prioritising tasks.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
