SPD Scientific is embarking on a major digital transformation, leveraging SAP Business One as our core ERP platform and connecting it with best‑in‑class systems across warehouse operations, field service, HR, finance, and commercial functions.

We are seeking a Systems Integration Specialist to serve as the technical and analytical anchor for cross‑platform connectivity. This role will design, build, and govern integrations across SAP B1, Infor WMS, Kegmil FMS, Darwinbox HRMS, finance systems, e‑commerce, and other enterprise applications. You will ensure data flows securely and reliably across the business, supporting scalable growth and operational excellence.

Reporting directly to the COO, you will work closely with IT, Operations, Finance, and vendor partners to ensure our digital ecosystem is efficient, resilient, and integration‑ready as we expand across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the design and execution of system integrations between SAP B1 and surrounding platforms.
• Develop API‑based, EDI‑based, and file‑based integrations and automation workflows.
• Govern integration standards, data synchronisation logic, and version control.
• Ensure security, scalability, and compliance across integration touchpoints.
• Define data structures, mapping logic, and transformation rules.
• Maintain and optimise integration middleware or automation toolsets.
• Proactively monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot integration incidents.
• Act as the integration liaison between business functions, external vendors, and project teams.
• Support SIT / UAT planning and execution to validate end‑to‑end flows.
• Work closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Service Ops, HR, and IT stakeholders on process optimisation.
• Establish playbooks, SOPs, and documentation for integration workflows.
• Champion data quality and exception‑handling frameworks.
• Recommend enhancements and emerging solutions to improve system interoperability and automation maturity.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3–7 years of hands‑on experience in systems integration, application engineering, or automation development.
• Strong proficiency in APIs, SQL scripting, JSON/XML, web services, and ETL‑style automation.
• Experience integrating or extending ERP systems — SAP B1 preferred; familiarity with SAP ECC/S4, Navision, Oracle, or NetSuite is advantageous.
• Working knowledge of middleware and automation platforms such as Workato, Celigo, Boomi, MuleSoft, or similar tools.
• Analytical and structured thinker, skilled in diagnosing and solving complex integration issues.
• Strong communication skills and ability to bridge business and technical stakeholders.
• Detail‑oriented, resourceful, and composed under pressure.
• Naturally curious, proactive, and eager to learn and experiment with new technologies.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with warehouse, logistics, distribution, or field‑service business processes.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and service automation concepts.
• Exposure to EDI transactions, message queues, or workflow orchestration frameworks.
• Awareness of data warehousing, BI systems, and integration best practices.
