Job description

We are looking for a System Engineer to support daily operations for mission‑critical systems in the governance and security sector. You will work closely with the Solution Architect, Project Manager, Maintenance Manager, and Technical Lead to ensure stable, secure, and reliable infrastructure across Windows, Linux, and VMware environments.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and administer VMware vSphere/ESXi environments, including clusters, hosts, and virtual machines.

Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server and/or Linux systems.

Perform regular patching, updates, and security hardening across servers and virtual platforms.

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and optimize infrastructure resources.

Plan and support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and capacity planning activities.

Maintain SAN/NAS storage, backup systems, and ensure compliance with recovery objectives.

Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO and related services.

Conduct system health checks, log analysis, and resolution of infrastructure issues.

Maintain accurate documentation for system configurations, processes, and change controls.

Support cybersecurity, compliance requirements, and cross‑team infrastructure initiatives.

Provide enterprise‑wide support for Microsoft Windows, VMware, and Linux environments.

Participate in a 24/7 on‑call rotation for critical operations support.

Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.

4–5 years of experience in system administration or IT infrastructure support.

Strong initiative, problem‑solving ability, and passion for operational excellence.

Good communication skills with the ability to work independently.

Ability to start immediately or on short notice is an advantage.

Preferable experience with MongoDB, VMware NSX, and Linux environments.
