Job description

Cogent owns one of Singapore's largest one-stop integrated logistics hub, Cogent 1.Logistics Hub. It offers warehousing, freight forwarding, container and ISO tank depot, automotive logistics, and transportation services in Singapore. It also operates warehousing and container depot businesses in Malaysia.

Responsibilities
  1. Assist in project management and co-ordinate with in-house developer, vendor, customer and business stakeholders to ensure projects meet project scope, budget and schedule with proper project plan
  2. Translate requirement from business unit to applications
  3. Analyze user's requirements, feasibility, cost, time and resources required, compatibility with current systems, potential problem area and recommending solutions for projects
  4. Responsible for the maintenance of application changes request
  5. Provide application support, including but not limited to conducting training to users, application server maintenance, data analysis
  6. Responsible for creation of all system documentations, and to ensure that they are kept up to date.
  7. Work closely with external vendors and internal uses in the development/support of the new system
Job Requirements
  1. Diploma/Degree in relevant discipline or relatable working experience in IT field
  2. At least 4+ years of working experience in participation of business application development, technical and business analysis
  3. Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  4. Application/Software design, development, integration, testing experience
  5. Facilitation, negotiation and conflict resolution skills and demonstrated success at building teams and relationships with key stake holder in a project
  6. Strong written and verbal communication skills
  7. Analytical skills and attentive to details
  8. Able to work independently without supervision
  9. Liaising work and vendor/client management
