Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging and safe swimming lessons according to the school’s teaching methodology.
• Teach water confidence, basic swimming skills, stroke techniques, and water safety practices.
• Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback to parents and learners.
• Ensure a safe pool environment by following safety protocols and observing students closely.
• Build rapport with students and create an encouraging, enjoyable learning atmosphere.
• Assist with class scheduling, attendance, and lesson documentation when required.
• Participate in internal training, skill upgrades, and team activities to maintain teaching quality.

Requirements

• Passion for working with children and individuals of all ages.
• Strong swimming ability and water confidence.
• Positive attitude, patience, and good communication skills.
• Prior coaching or lifesaving experience is an advantage (training is provided).
• Willing to commit 8 hours a week (timing can be arranged based on your availability).
• Salary based per hourly $20 / hr - $60 / hr
