Overview

Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and versatile swim coach to deliver high-quality lessons for our Learn-to-Swim (LTS) programs. The ideal candidate is someone who can inspire beginners while also nurturing aspiring competitive swimmers with sound technical instruction and training planning.

Responsibilities

Learn-to-Swim

  • Teach foundational swimming skills to children aged 3+ using our structured LTS curriculum
  • Manage small group or private classes in a fun, safe, and engaging manner
  • Track progress and recommend student promotions based on readiness
  • Communicate clearly and positively with parents and guardians
  • Assist with SwimSafer assessments and school events as required

General Duties

  • Maintain a professional and positive presence on the pool deck
  • Ensure safety protocols and discipline are upheld at all times
  • Attend coach meetings, workshops, and parent consultations when scheduled
  • Contribute to a team culture that values learning, discipline, and fun
Requirements
  • Certified in LTS Coaching
  • Minimum 2 years coaching experience
  • Good understanding of swimmer development stages (ages 3–14)
  • Strong communication, patience, and class management skills
  • Available to work weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends
  • Current CPR + AED certification (or willing to obtain)
