Job summary

A leading beverage manufacturing firm is seeking an experienced Supply Planner for a 6-month contract in Singapore. This role focuses on managing supply planning and inventory across various markets, optimizing sales opportunities while minimizing inventory risks. Responsibilities include preparing forecasts, analyzing inventory, coordinating logistics, and supporting digital transformation projects. Candidates should have at least 3 years of supply chain experience, strong analytical and organizational skills, and proficiency in supply planning tools, including advanced Excel and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain management within a retail/FMCG environment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage complexity effectively.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving.
• Proficiency in IT, including advanced Excel skills and familiarity with MRP systems.
• Experience with JDE ERP system is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor stock levels to ensure KPI targets are met and optimize inventory.
• Analyze inventory forecasts and develop processes for inventory purchases and re-order quantities.
• Prepare replenishment files for management review and approval before actual replenishment.
• Conduct a demand-supply match to allocate inventory and drive service level satisfaction.
• Coordinate with distribution and logistics teams on inbound shipment discrepancies and stock disposal.

The Opportunity

We are partnering with a well-established player in the beverage manufacturing & distribution, seeking a Supply Planner to join their business on a 6-months contract. This role involves managing supply planning and inventory for various markets, and requires overseeing inventory in warehouses and inbound shipments to optimize sales opportunities while minimizing inventory risk. The successful candidate will collaborate with sales, marketing, demand planning, and finance teams to prepare replenishment forecasts and analytical reports. Additionally, the role involves supporting digital transformation projects and implementing automated tools for supply planning.
