Our client, a leading multinational in the specialty ingredients and solutions sector, is seeking a Supply Chain Director to drive operational excellence and strategic growth at their Singapore production site. This senior leadership role is responsible for optimizing end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring high standards of quality, efficiency, and compliance, and supporting the company’s long-term business objectives.

As a Supply Chain Director, you will lead a team of supply chain leaders to deliver operational results, implement strategic initiatives, and enhance processes across multiple functions. You will also contribute to the overall performance and direction of the organization as part of the APAC Management team, influencing operational priorities and strategy in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and execute a long-term supply chain operational masterplan for the Singapore production site, aligned with business growth objectives.
  • Engage, develop, and align leaders across supply chain functions to ensure operational excellence, superior customer service, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team and across functions.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and company standards, including GMP, cGMP, and GDP, while keeping the site audit‑ready.
  • Collaborate with commercial, sales, and other business functions to ensure seamless coordination of operations and superior customer experience.
  • Drive initiatives to optimize operational processes, improve performance metrics, and implement efficiency improvements across the site.
  • Support regional strategic initiatives as part of the APAC Management team, contributing to the overall performance and direction of operations across Asia Pacific.
  • Oversee the evaluation and integration of new technologies, systems, and processes to support scalability, sustainability, and operational growth.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in supply chain operations leadership roles, preferably in the food ingredients, flavour, FMCG, or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience leading a team of supply chain leaders to achieve operational and strategic goals with regional leadership exposure.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations, with exposure to process optimization and efficiency improvement.
  • Demonstrated experience leading operations aimed at improving efficiency through lean manufacturing and reduced cycle times.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to drive collaboration across functions.
  • Experience with SAP system and strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards, quality systems, and operational compliance frameworks.
  • Willingness to travel for business as required.
