Main Roles & Responsibilities
Oversee and supervise the implementation of daily teaching and student care activities for children aged 7–12, guiding staff to ensure smooth execution and compliance with centre standards.
Basic Working hours: Weekdays
Normal School Terms: from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. (6 hours)
School Vacation & Scheduled School Holidays:
Between 7.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. (9 Hours’ Shift)
Responsibilities
Supervisory role
- Manage the centre’s daily operations to ensure efficient delivery of student care services.
- Supervise and support staff in classroom management, student welfare, and duty roster scheduling.
- Establish effective communication channels and long‑term rapport with key stakeholders, including school management, parents, and external partners.
- Lead and inspire the team to consistently meet centre targets and key performance indicators.
- Manage the scheduling, coordination, and implementation of the centre’s annual events, holiday programmes and festive seasons activities.
- Oversee daily administrative functions such as attendance monitoring and grade documentation, while ensuring adherence to MSF guidelines and environmental safety standards.
- Manage and deliver teachers’ monthly timesheets to finance, safeguarding efficiency and accuracy in salary disbursement.
Teaching role
- Supervise daily students’ programs such as fetching students and meal times, etc.
- Plan weekly and prepare daily lesson plans for students.
- Supervise students to do their homework, learn their spelling, and study for their tests.
- Provide daily tuition after homework supervision.
- Conduct classroom activities that are fun and have developmental objectives (such as public speaking, drama and art & craft).
- Encourage students' participation in classroom activities.
- Handle administrative work (such as sales, collection of fees, and collection of forms) and upkeep of centre premises.
Requirements
- Singaporeans and PRs only.
- Qualification: minimum ‘O’ levels or similar field related certificates is acceptable.
- At least 2 years of experience in the student care or education sector, ideally in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
- Proven skills in planning, organisation, and team leadership.
- Strong communication abilities with effective classroom management experience.
- Demonstrated passion for working with children and supporting their holistic development.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with key stakeholders, including school management, parents, and external partners.
