Job summary

A local education center in Singapore seeks a receptionist to greet visitors and manage inquiries from students and parents. The ideal candidate should have at least a GCE O-Level and experience in administrative or customer service roles. Responsibilities
  • Greet visitors, answer and direct phone calls, and manage the reception area
  • Assist students and parents with inquiries and provide information about the center's services.
  • Handle daily office tasks such as filing, managing student records and attendance, and processing payments
  • Assist with general center operations, such as ordering supplies, maintaining equipment, and supporting events
  • Maintain student and staff records, perform data entry, assist with basic bookkeeping and payroll related processing
Requirements
  • Minimum GCE O-Level
  • Prior experience in admin, front desk, customer service, or education/student care is preferred
  • Good communication skills, especially with parents and children.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel) and comfortable learning new systems.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and payroll software
  • Patient and comfortable in a child-focused setting.
  • Able to communicate in Chinese due to Chinese speaking customers
