Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking candidates for a position requiring at least 3 years of experience in the oil & gas industry. Responsibilities include maintaining stock levels, ensuring compliance with pollution control measures, and effective communication with teams and clients. Candidates must be physically fit and willing to undertake both onshore and offshore assignments. This role is critical in an environment where safety and efficiency are paramount.

Qualifications

  • Physically fit to work in onshore and offshore environments.

Establish and Maintain Effective Working Relationships
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with team, colleagues and visitors to the working environment.
  • Communicate and report accurately and clearly according to procedures.
  • Establish and maintain effective communications with Company representatives and the client.
Control and Maintain Stock Levels Effectively
  • Maintain accurate and transparent records using the Computerised Stock Control System.
  • Receive stock and check off accurately against manifests and Purchase Orders (POs) / Requisitions.
  • Liaise with relevant departments to ensure effective provision of equipment and materials where and when required.
  • Alert Storekeeper to ensure certification requirements of equipment and materials e.g., PSVs are current.
Maintain Stock Security and Safety
  • Maintain security of equipment storage areas and control access to storage areas and stock.
  • Maintain all equipment and stock storage areas in clean and tidy condition, preventing the accumulation of debris.
  • Issue equipment from equipment storage areas and store stock and equipment appropriately.
Monitor and Maintain Pollution Control Measures
  • Unplanned discharges to the environment are identified, halted where possible, and reported according to policy, procedure and regulation.
  • Relevant PPE is used to deal with unplanned discharges using company procedures.
  • Environmental protection and pollution control are enforced effectively with colleagues, subordinates and subcontractors.
Emergency Response
  • Demonstrate competence in Emergency Response drills and exercises.
  • Carry out the Emergency Response role (See Station Bill).
Requirements
  • Willing to undertake both onshore and offshore assignments as required.
  • Able to complete assigned rotations or projects fully and remain for the entire assignment period.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in onshore and/or offshore roles within the oil & gas industry.
  • Hands-on experience in maintenance and operations activities.
  • Physically fit to work in onshore and offshore environments.
