Job description

Position Overview

Responsible for the design, technical review, site coordination, and quality management of the company’s steel structure projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards, engineering specifications, and project schedules.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform structural design, calculations, drawing preparation, and technical review for steel structure works.
• Follow up the entire project cycle from design, fabrication to installation, ensuring technical requirements fully implemented.
• Coordinate closely with project managers, site teams, contractors, and suppliers to resolve technical issues.
• Prepare technical documents, calculation reports, method statements, and quality inspection records.
• Inspect fabrication quality in factories and conduct site inspections when required.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Support project cost control by evaluating design changes and proposing technical optimizations.
• Track project progress, identify technical risks, and provide timely solutions and updates.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in steel structure engineering or structural construction.
• Strong knowledge of steel structure design standards, material specifications, and construction processes.
• Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD, TEKLA, STAAD, SAP2000, or similar tools.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to solve structural or site issues independently.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills, able to work with multiple teams.
• Detail-oriented and able to work under project deadlines.
• Good command of both English and Chinese is an advantage.
