Job summary

A leading healthcare institution in Singapore is seeking a Registered Nurse to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate total nursing care for assigned patients. The role includes performing various procedures and patient education. Candidates should have at least 1-2 years of nursing experience in an acute hospital setting and meet vaccination requirements for Covid-19 and other diseases. The position requires shift work with a schedule to be planned mutually with successful applicants.

Job description

You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate the total nursing care for an assigned group of patients, as well as perform a wide variety of nursing procedures and patient education that meet patients’ needs. You will have opportunities to work in the Cardiothoracic Surgery wards/Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Cardiology wards/Coronary Care Unit (CCU). You will be required to perform shift work. The work schedule and hours will be discussed and planned with successful applicants based on mutual agreement, although we would need successful applicants to work at least 2 days per week.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse or Nursing qualification recognised by the Singapore Nursing Board with at least 1-2 years’ nursing experience in an acute hospital setting
  • Doccumented proof of:
  • (i) Measles (or MMR - Mumps, Measles and Rubella) vaccination or serological evidence of measles immunity; and
  • (ii) Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis) vaccination received within the last 10 years, as required for all healthcare workers under the Healthcare Services Act.
  • Applicants without these vaccinations may apply if they commit to completing the required vaccination(s) before work commencement, upon successful job offer.
