Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and check patients for Endoscopy procedures.
• Deliver regular updates to doctors, patients and family members.
• Complete all necessary paperwork before transferring a patient.
• Respond to a medical emergency and care for patient needs in the Endoscopy unit.

Job description

• Prepare and check patients for Endoscopy procedures
• Deliver regular updates to doctors, patients and their family members
• Complete all necessary paperwork before transferring a patient
• Maintain patient records
• Assist to administer medication as needed
• Respond to a medical emergency and alert the appropriate doctors as needed; care for patient needs throughout their recovery in the Endoscopy unit
• Ensure proper nursing documents properly documented
• Create and implement effective care plans
• Provide administrative support including attending to patient & clinic enquires, tabulation of doctor’s fee
• Any other duties as assigned by the management

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Nursing
• Proven work experience as an Endoscopy Nurse or similar role
• OT Scrub Nurses keen on Endoscopy Unit , may apply
• Candidates with willingness to learn is welcome
• Registered with Singapore Nursing Board
• Team player who can work independently
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
• Proficiency in MS Excel is a plus
