We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our client's team in Central Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability and efficiency of the network infrastructure supporting our electronic market operations across the APAC region. You will proactively resolve complex network issues, manage vendor coordination, and guarantee the functionality, performance, and security of network systems in compliance with organisational and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively resolve network problems for electronic market platforms to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Oversee and execute the installation, monitoring, maintenance, and optimisation of the network infrastructure.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all network hardware, software, and telecom circuits.
• Configure and optimise both internal and Internet-based network services.
• Analyse and resolve network service issues promptly, and produce relevant reports and documentation.
• Deliver proximity IT support services, including analysing and reporting service performance metrics.
• Maintain a current inventory of all network infrastructure within the electronic market environment.
• Ensure all activities align with global IT security guidelines and governance frameworks.
• Support the network architecture and functionality in accordance with business and regulatory demands in the APAC region.
• Utilise network monitoring and troubleshooting tools effectively to ensure optimum system uptime.
• Manage relationships with vendors and coordinate their contributions to projects and services.
• Provide support during morning shifts, holidays, and weekends as needed.
• Occasionally travel across the APAC region to support and implement data centre projects.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in network engineering roles, ideally within financial or high-availability environments.
• Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, VPNs, routing, and switching technologies.
• Proficiency with network security best practices and relevant tools.
• Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
• Familiarity with Internet-based services integration and cloud networking is advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong documentation and reporting abilities.
• Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and external vendors effectively.
• Strong understanding of IT governance and cybersecurity policies.
