Job summary

A community health organization in Singapore seeks a qualified Speech Therapist to provide therapy for young children with special needs.   • 1 to 3 years of relevant working experience preferred.

Allied Health Services for EIPIC encompasses a comprehensive array of specialized therapeutic services tailored to meet the unique needs of children with developmental delays or disabilities, and to provide holistic care & support to children and their families. Our AHS team includes speech therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and psychologists, is committed to empowering children to reach their full potential and thrive in their developmental journey through evidence-based interventions, assessments, and personalized therapy plans.

Responsibilities
  • Provide therapy for young children (0 to 6 years) with special needs
  • Assess oromotor, speech, language and functional communication skills & needs of young children with special needs
  • Deliver therapy services either by direct therapy, consultation with teachers and parents, collaboration with teachers and parents, or by monitoring of child’s progress
  • Work closely with intervention team in areas of assessment, goal development, intervention strategies and progress monitoring in a trans-disciplinary setting
  • Maintain documentation on clients’ progress
  • Conduct in-service and parent workshop talks
Qualifications
  • MUST possess Degree in Speech Therapy from an institution recognized by the Ministry of Health under the Allied Health Professions Act
  • Have obtained Full Registration with the Allied Health Professions Council
  • Preferably with 1 to 3 years of relevant working experience
