Job description

The Solution Expert Engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining Advanced Solutions with ATEME’s largest and most complex customers. The candidate will serve as a trusted solutions advisor, ensuring successful solution design and testing and will work closely with the regional cloud operations team.

Missions

• Solution Expertise
• Lead solution architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Be a consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders in engineering, sales, and customer organizations to resolve complex deployment and operational obstacles in Ateme products for Cloud and other infrastructure environments.
• Lead RFP, RFI from both technical and cost estimations in line with customer expectations.
• Install, configure and test Advanced systems for Lab, Demos and Proof-of-Concepts along with Pre Sales and Project teams in both Cloud and On‑prem platforms.
• Automate and Optimize Cloud deployment processes using Python Scripts.

Technical Skills and Requirements

• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Kubernetes or Slurm in an on‑prem or cloud environment.
• Hands‑on Experience with: System virtualization, on‑premises and hybrid cloud computing.
• Hands‑on experience of IT and Cloud infrastructure (Server, Storage, Networking, DevOps, App Deployment, and security).
• Experience troubleshooting and advocating for customer needs, and triaging technical issues across the stack (e.g., hardware faults, low‑level software, networking, virtualization, kernel drivers, firmware, and performance).
• Prior experience with Digital Video System architect including DVB system as well as IPTV and OTT.
• Deep knowledge on Video Compression (MPEG‑2, H.264, HEVC and JPEG2000) and Transportation (MPEG‑TS, HLS, DASH, ZIXI/SRT).
• Experience with Node.js, PHP, REST, Python and Web Service technologies.
• Cloud Certifications.
• Ability to travel in Singapore and abroad.
