This Position reports to: Solutions Sales Leader - APAC

As a Process Technical Specialist within a leading Control Systems OEM, you will be responsible for designing and supporting advanced automation and control solutions for complex process environments in the LNG, petrochemical, and chemical manufacturing sectors. You will act as the technical authority in customer engagements, ensuring solutions are engineered to meet stringent safety, operational, and regulatory requirements.

Your role will focus on integrating Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), Power Management Systems (PMS), and digital platforms to optimize plant performance, reliability, and lifecycle value.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead solution architecture for DCS, SIS, PMS, and digital platforms in LNG and chemical plants
  • Act as technical authority in customer, EPC, and licensor engagements
  • Translate process, safety, and operational requirements into compliant automation designs
  • Support bids, tenders, and strategic pursuits with risk-aware technical solutions
  • Provide technical leadership from pre-sales through commissioning (FAT/SAT, site support)
  • Ensure compliance with IEC, ISA, API, SIL, and cybersecurity standards
  • Drive modernization, migration, and brownfield automation projects
  • Promote advanced control, analytics, and digital innovation
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Automation, Instrumentation, or related engineering
  • 10–15 years’ experience in LNG, chemical, or petrochemical industries
  • Minimum 5 years in senior control systems / automation role
  • Strong expertise in DCS, SIS, PMS, SCADA, PLC, and industrial networks
  • Experience with EPC project execution and tendering models
  • Proven delivery of automation solutions for LNG or chemical plants
  • Strong stakeholder communication and technical leadership skills
  • Master’s degree or PM / systems certifications are an advantage
