Role & Responsibilities
Casework and Counselling
- To identify and assess risks inherent in cases by integrating a range of information.
- To use professional tools and working templates to guide staff in case assessment and case planning
- To represent the centre in its advocacy efforts for vulnerable families, with the aim of advocating for these families to have access to equal opportunities through collaborative practice with community partners
Groupwork and/or Community Work
- To participate in client/community assessments, group/community work processes and specialized intervention strategies
Operational Managerial Skills (Operational Processes, Policies and Protocols)
- To support the Assistant Senior / Senior / Lead Professionals in the implementation of centre’s operational and practice protocols, processes and policies
- Undertake any other duties assigned by the Head of Centre
Qualifications, Competencies & Experience
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or Post Graduate Diploma in Social Work from an accredited institution / Degree in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work from an accredited institution
- Inclination towards research and planning is an advantage
- Office Environment, willing to travel around for Home Visits etc.
- Working hours: 5 day work week, office hours. Appointments with clients may be beyond office hours (6pm - 9pm) based operational needs.
