About the Role

The Social Work Associate is a support role in the field of social work. He / She assist to implement programme and perform community development activities and outreach. He / She also assumes a secondary role in case management through providing support to caseworkers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Information & Referral (I&R) services in line with FSC guidelines and standards.
  • Conduct intake assessments for new clients according to FSC service standards.
  • Handle mainline calls, walk-in enquiries, and front desk duties when required.
  • Organize and participate in community outreach initiatives.
  • Assist in assessing community needs and liaise with external stakeholders for publicity and networking.
  • Support development and implementation of community initiatives from MSF or within the agency.
  • Assist in planning and preparation of community group work.
  • Assist in programme development and execution, including logistical and administrative support.
  • Support volunteer management in collaboration with the agency’s volunteer manager.
  • Manage and monitor low/no-risk cases and ensure compliance with case work processes and timelines.
  • Compile quarterly statistics, track case work KPIs, and prepare data for MSF tracking requirements.
  • Provide administrative support for practice observations and centre operations.
  • Undertake other duties as assigned by supervisor or HOD.
Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma in Social Work
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Conversant in English and any 2nd language
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • A good team player, dynamic and self-motivated
  • Keen on administration details and detail oriented
  • Has a strong passion in reaching out and making a difference in the lives of the needy
