Job description

The SGH Workplace Safety and Health department has a vacancy for Senior Executive / Assistant Manager / Senior Assistant Manager who can contribute to the support, planning, implementation and maintenance of the WSH Management System to ensure WSH issues of all hospital staff and workplaces are addressed adequately.

The candidate should, preferably,

  • have experience working in a multi-disciplinary teams on a broad spectrum of projects.

  • be comfortable to writing and administrative work such as record keeping, report writing, minutes‑of‑meeting writing, project management, WSH committee management, WSH training and promotion.

  • be able to work independently and possess the initiative to complete tasks and projects assigned.

  • possess strong interpersonal skills with pleasant disposition and ability to work well and interact with people at all levels.

  • be inquisitive

The aspects of WSH that are relevant to the hospital include but are not limited to

  • a. Biological Safety
  • b. Chemical Safety
  • c. Radiation Safety
  • d. Ergonomics
  • e. Design for Safety in Process, Places and Products
  • f. Construction Safety
  • g. Physical Safety
  • h. Laboratory Safety

Registered WSH Officers are preferred.
