Job description

Overview

All positions are based in Singapore and are open to Singaporean candidates only.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in civil works in construction operations.
• Familiar with different types of civil foundations, wall, drain, culverts, RC and road works.
• Extensive knowledge in formwork preparation & installation, fabrication works, rebar cutting/bending and tying, excavation & shoring, de‑watering, piling, compacting, lean concreting, concrete casting, laying of liner, spacer, wire mesh, pre‑cast materials, backfilling, jointing & sealing, mortar and plastering works.
• Supervises and coordinates a team of workers in civil activities of various civil projects.
• Lead working crew at site and in daily toolbox meetings.
• Ensure that all works are performed in accordance with the project specifications and completed on time as per schedule.
• Plan and schedule tasks, daily work instructions, manage resources & field coordination.
• Assist in the preparation of daily reports and monitor the progress of projects.
• Initiate and undertake action to prevent the occurrence of non‑conformity.
• Ability to interpret ISO / civil drawings.
• Ensure safety of working crew and cascade work instructions down to working crews.
• Ensure quality conformance of works and raise technical query.
• Ensure works are carried out safely and meet required productivity, quality and contract target completions date.

Qualifications

• Min ITE certification or Diploma in Engineering (preferably Mechanical/Civil Engineering) or equivalent.
• At least 5 years with 3 years in supervisory position for EPC, ECPM for civil construction projects.
• Possess ownership to protect company properties.
• Follow instructions of superior, have good work attitude and attendance.
