Job summary

A construction firm in Singapore is looking for a candidate to assist the Site Manager with supervisory roles and oversee daily site activities. Responsibilities include ensuring schedules are met and quality is maintained while managing relationships with subcontractors and clients. Strong project management skills and the ability to work under pressure are preferable for this position.

Responsibilities

• Assist Site Manager or Superior in day-to-day activities.
• Supervise site activities including worker management.
• Ensure work is carried out on schedule and meets quality standards.
• Coordinate with various departments for smooth workflow.
• Supervise subcontractor activities and progress.
• Prepare work areas and materials for execution.
• Liaise with clients on daily activities and inspections.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and evaluate manpower.

Responsibilities

• To assist Site Manager or Superior
• To carry out supervisory roles in day to day site activities including taking care of workers.
• Ensure all works are carried out within schedule and maintains the required quality.
• Coordinate between colleagues from different departments to ensure the smooth transition of works and eliminate abortive works through regular discussions.
• To supervise subcon works and ensure subcontractor’s progress in accordance to schedule.
• Ensure proper preparation of work areas to carry out the works and ensure adequate materials preparation for execution.
• To coordinate with client’s supervisory staffs on a day to day activities, inspections, etc.
• To liaise with Main-con and other contractors to ensure smooth operation.
• Monitor performance of subcontractors, evaluate the progress and manpower to ensure adequacy and adhering to schedule.
