Job summary

A leading equipment installation company in Singapore is seeking an Installation Supervisor to manage site operations and ensure project completion to quality standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on installation experience, relevant safety certifications, and the ability to lead a small team. This role involves project coordination, client liaison, and performing installation tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum secondary education qualifications required.
  • Hold a NITEC or Higher NITEC in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Have WSQ or BCA Safety certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Provide project updates to the Installation Engineer.
  • Supervise site operations for safety and quality.

Job Descriptions
  • Report directly to the Installation Engineer and provide regular project updates.
  • Interpret installation manuals, technical drawings, and specifications; provide clear instructions and guidance to installation workers.
  • Supervise daily site operations to ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
  • Perform hands‑on installation, repair, and troubleshooting tasks as required.
  • Schedule and coordinate project activities to ensure smooth and timely completion.
  • Liaise with logistics partners and clients to arrange timely delivery and offloading of equipment to site.
  • Carry out repair, maintenance, and servicing of all products in Singapore, ensuring prompt response to client requests.
  • Identify and rectify any defects, issues, or incomplete works promptly.
  • Attend technical training sessions and workshops to continuously upgrade skills and product knowledge.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or public holidays as project demands require.
Academic (Education, Trade Qualifications)
  • Minimum secondary education (e.g., N-Level or O-Level).
  • Preferably holds a NITEC / Higher NITEC certificate, in Civil, Mechanical Engineering, Construction, or relevant trades.
  • WSQ or BCA Safety certifications (e.g., Apply Workplace Safety and Health in Construction Sites, Building Construction Supervisors Safety, Work At Height etc).
  • Additional trade licenses such as forklift, MEWP, or working at height are advantages.
  • Able to read and understand simple technical manuals and installation guides.
  • Possesses Singapore or other country car or mini van driving license.
Work Experience
  • At least 2–3 years of hands‑on experience in outdoor site work, construction, or equipment installation.
  • Experience in leading a small team of workers on‑site.
  • Experience in handling tools and materials, and working with installation manuals.
  • Prior experience with playground, fitness equipment, or landscape installation is a plus.
IT Competencies
  • Basic use of WhatsApp, camera apps, and email for site reporting.
  • Microsoft Office.
  • AutoCAD is a bonus.
