A prominent construction company in Singapore is seeking a candidate to assist in project planning and site coordination. The ideal applicant should have a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and may be a fresh graduate. Responsibilities include monitoring works, handling engineering problems, and ensuring safe work practices at the site.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent required.
• Preferred degree to be recognized by the Board of Engineers.
• Minimum 3 years experience in the residential construction industry is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Engineer and Project Manager in planning.
• Coordinate and oversee all works on site.
• Monitor & coordinate works with supervisors.
• Handle technical and engineering problems.
• Liaise with client's representatives and authorities.
• Identify and assess foreseeable risks and minimize environmental impact.
• Ensure safe work procedures are implemented.

• Assist the Project Engineer and Project Manager in project planning and to co-ordinate and oversee all works on the site.


• Monitor & co-ordinate the works with supervisors.


• Handling of technical and engineering problems.


• Assist in planning, programming and monitoring of construction works progress.


• Liaison with client's representative, relevant authorities and consultants.


• Identify and assess any foreseeable risk arising from the workplace or work processes, minimise environmental impact associated with the construction activities.


• Take reasonable practical measures to eliminate any foreseeable risk to any person who is at the workplace.


• Ensure safe work procedures and environmental control measures are implemented at the work site.

Job Requirements
