Job summary

A leading construction company in Singapore is seeking a BIM Coordinator/Modeller to oversee quality compliance and enhance productivity. Responsibilities include supervising Foremen, resolving technical issues, and improving work processes. Candidates should have a diploma or degree in civil structure engineering and a minimum of 2 years' experience in the construction industry. Familiarity with BIM software such as Tekla structures and Revit is essential. The role also requires site visits for inspections and recommendations.

Qualifications

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise Foremen, ensure compliance to the quality procedures & standard of workmanship. Checking on quality and quantity of work by subcontractors.
• Resolve drawing discrepancies & technical difficulties with Technical team.
• Adherence to safety practices in the work place.
• Plan all works on site, including program schedules and construction methods, forecast equipment, material and manpower requirement, and control usage and wastages of all.
• Perform reinforcement detailing or modelling to meet customer and project requirements.
• Assist in improvement on work processes to achieve practical work method, cost efficient and time saving.
• Provide best reinforcement solution for internal & external customer to improve productivity and profitability with compliance to design codes.
• Liaise with Sales, Production & Technical to ensure reinforcement solution proposal are meeting client expectation and on time.
• To develop and maintain time study & cost analysis of labour & material used onsite for all structure elements.
• Provide structure design advise for the internal/ external customers.

Any other duties that may be assigned to you from time to time as your superior / management deem fit.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil structure engineering or its equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working as BIM coordinator/Modeller.
• Experience in construction industry & reinforced concrete (RC).
• Requires initiative, teamwork skills, a strong work ethic, and a high level of responsibility.
• Will have to do site visits as well if necessary to do site inspection and recommendations.
• Familiar with BIM software including Tekla structures Revit AutoCAD & Microsoft Excel.
