Job summary

A leading engineering firm located in Singapore seeks a Project Manager to oversee day-to-day project operations. Responsibilities include planning, supervising, and coordinating tasks with subcontractors to ensure projects meet quality, legal compliance, and safety standards. The ideal candidate will monitor site progress, assist with approvals, and foster effective relationships among all project parties. This role is critical to delivering projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Manage and responsible for day-to-day project operations.
• Plan, supervise, execute and follow-up on all project actions.
• Able to schedule and control sub-contractors/workers accurately.
• Coordinate with project team, customers, and consultants effectively.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure compliance and safety.
• Ensure quality works meet objectives and projects are completed on time.
• Assist in tracking approvals during submission stages.
• Liaise with sub-contractors & consultants for timely completion.

Job description

• Manage and responsible day-to-day project operations including coordinating activities with sub-contractors and liaise with all party involved in the project;
• Plan, supervise, execute and follow-up on all project actions and schedules;
• Able to schedule, supervise and control sub-contractors/workers to carry out their works accurately and timely in accordance to the contract drawings and specifications;
• Co-ordinate and establish good working relationship with project team, customers, consultants and sub-contractors to facilitate effective co-ordination of work activities;
• To monitor construction / project progress, ensure productivity, legal compliance and all safety precaution till completion of projects;
• Monitor progress on site and ensure that quality works are carried out in order to meet quality and cost objectives, projects are completed on time, within budget;
• Provide assistance in keeping track of approvals during submission stage so as to ensure compliance with government authorities;
• Liaise closely with sub-contractor & consultants to ensure timely completion of projects.
