• We are looking for a Java Developer who communicate with our engineering team to produce the most effective products that delight our clients.

Principal Accountabilities

• Design, build and test solutions for various modules
• Meet up with customers to gather requirements when necessary
• Perform post–rollout maintenance work such as solving of problem reports or development of change requests
• Produce the necessary documentation for modules developed
• Assist in the conducting of User Acceptance Tests (UAT) prior to rollout of applications
• Perform other ad–hoc activities as required by the Authority
• Explore new technologies and assess them

Requirements

• Experience in four or more of the following skills: Java, EJB, JSP, JSF, Hibernate, JEE 5 and above, Struts, PL/ SQL, Oracle database version 11g and 12c, XML
• Experience in handling system–to–system backend interfaces is highly preferred
• Experience in software and database design, Weblogic application server, UML modelling tools is preferred
• Proficient in spoken and written English
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge and experience in Procurement processes and financial systems would be preferred
• Experience in the Government Procurement System or other similar systems would be preferred
