Job summary

A logistics solutions provider in Singapore is seeking a Shipping Sales Officer with responsibilities in customer management and sales development. The role requires at least GCE 'O' level education and 2 years of preferred experience in the Freight Forwarding industry. The selected candidate will handle customer inquiries and negotiate quotations, receiving a salary of up to $3500, including commissions and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE 'O' level or its equivalent is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in the Freight Forwarding industry is preferred.
• Competent in Microsoft Office.

• Position : Shipping Sales Officer (BD / Supply Chain/ Shipping/Logistic/ Freight Industry) - NO EXP REQ
• Location : Henderson Road
• Working hours : 5 days / office hours
• Salary : Gross up to $3500 (Basic up to $3200 + Commission + Performance Bonus)
• Duration : Permanent
• Industry : Freight and Logistics Solutions Provider

Main Responsibilities

• Respond to and follow up on sales enquiries
• Service maintain and develop existing / new customers through planned individual account support
• Establish, make phone calls to targeted customers, assess and qualify for sales development
• Arrange sales appointments; Create Sales Opportunity
• Negotiate for competitive costs from overseas office/agents/Shipping Lines
• Issuance of quotations
• Prepare official quotations
• Follow up on quotations to clients
• Establish SOP with Network/Customer Service to ensure understanding on customer's requirements
• Marine cargo insurance application
• Create customer's awareness regarding company's services

Requirements

• Possess minimum GCE 'O' level or its equivalent
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the Freight Forwarding industry preferred
• Competent in Microsoft Office
