Job summary

A semiconductor company in Singapore is looking for a candidate to analyze wafer test yields and support manufacturing operations. You will need a Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Familiarity with wafer sort tests and prober operations is advantageous. This role requires shift work and the ability to converse in Mandarin to liaise with Chinese counterparts.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze wafer test yields
• Determine hold lot disposition
• Communicate with customer for joint disposition.
• Yield Improvement: Identify and resolve issues impacting yield performance
• Perform device / hardware test qualification / correlation and the issuance of the associated reports
• Support manufacturing operations on technical issues relating to device testing

Job Specification

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering
• It will be an added advantage if you are familiar with all or any of the following:
  1. Wafer sort test
  2. Prober operations (TSK or OPUS)
  3. Tester platforms (U FLEX, J750, Verigy 93K, Magnum or Advantest Tester)
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• Effective organizational skills and able to take initiative, a ‘self-starters’ who is able to work with minimal supervision, with ability to devise solutions to complex problems
• Applicants must be able to converse in Mandarin to communicate with our Chinese counterparts
• You will be required to work in shifts.
