Job Title

Services Sales Account Manager (Government/Real Estate)

What you will do
  • Initiate contact, develop relationships and generate demand in customer accounts within the target segment, assigned to them by the Segment Sales Manager.
  • Educate customers on all SE products and services with special attention to customer pain points.
  • Cross‑sell the Field Service portfolio – Power Systems, Secure Power & Cooling, Digital Energy, Industrial Automation.
  • Secure customer satisfaction by overseeing all ongoing activities with the customer (orders and execution).
  • Utilize BFO (Salesforce.com) for sales funnel management, account planning, performance and opportunity detection via Sales Cockpit.
  • Provide monthly forecasts, using BFO, and summaries in a timely manner.
  • Participate in the preparation of analysis and reports on field service performance.
  • Provide precise and timely information to the Tender team to prepare sales quotations and proposals.
  • Monitor margin to be at or above country thresholds. Use the DOA process to escape opportunities below thresholds.
  • Understand key account player mapping on end‑user, consultants, LEW and contractors.
  • Know where to be to create business opportunities and attend industry events and networking functions to follow assigned account needs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of technical sales experience in engineering solutions.
  • Ability to grasp engineering solutions and present them to a lay person; trusted advisor mentality.
  • Cold‑calling and social‑selling skills.
  • Persuasion, influencing, and convincing skills to promote offers and gain decision‑maker support.
  • Active listening skills – full attention to the content and meaning of others’ messages.
  • Ability to build sustainable, reliable customer relationships. Customer intimacy is critical in Field Services.
  • Develop go‑to‑market strategies and work closely with the prescription team, country segment leaders and contractor team to increase sales hit rates.
  • Energetic, outgoing, proactive, and attentive to prospecting and networking.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including communication with C‑level customers.
  • Thorough knowledge of Schneider Electric services throughout the Asset Management Life Cycle. Good knowledge of power system, secure power, industry systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ERP/CRM tools. Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to leverage technology for communication and performance management.
